I'm currently available for in person training and behavior help through Southern Maine. I charge $150 for an in-home appointment, including a training/behavior plan and will include a travel surcharge for appointments outside of 20 miles. 1/2 the payment will be due at booking to hold the date, the rest will be due at the time of the appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours will not receive a refund of the hold fee as the time was booked and I won't be able to get someone else in that slot on that short of a notice. This is my business and how I feed my family, so it's important to make sure appointments aren't cancelled at the last minute (In Boston, I went through an entire summer of people cancelling hours before the appointment on days that were beach-appropriate 🙂 So, I had to implement this policy.) If you see other trainers and behavior consultants asking for similar, that's why. It's not that we're greedy - it's that we are professionals and this is how we found a way to make sure our time and expertise were respected.
I can also do zoom consultations for training, behavior, scent work, tricks, kids and dogs, and more. These, of course, would not be as costly as a travel fee on top of training / behavior option, so please reach out and we can figure out something that works for everyone.
If you are looking for a presentation, class, career day expert who can bring in a dog, scent work clinic, urban dogs presentation, impulse control talk, invasive species detection presentation, school presentations, or conference speaker, please also feel free to reach out! I love doing these and would relish in the opportunity to speak wherever I'm invited (for the most part).
