Behavioral Support

As a behavior consultant since 2008, Melissa has been working with families and their pets to find solutions to complex behavioral challenges. Working with Melissa is a judgement-free zone. She is committed to helping your dog cope, and you feel confident about how to help your dog going forward.

Using positive reinforcement techniques and armed with the most up-to-date research on learning theory and distress, Melissa is qualified by the ABTC, PACT, and others, and she is ready to help you and your dog.

If your dog is nervous around strangers, has a bite history, growls when you try to take something from him or her, or is unable to comfortably cope with daily life, Melissa will work with you and your veterinarian to support your dog through these challenges.

If you believe behavioral support is the avenue for you, please fill out the appropriate waiver for behavior here and book your appointment today.

In-home behavior consultations will be $250 for the initial visit, which lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. All follow up appointments can be on Zoom or in person and will be charged accordingly.
